The social service is the sector that aims at the psychosocial rehabilitation of the patient. Taking information about the family and social environment, it aims at the smooth adaptation of the patient to the Rehabilitation Center.

The social worker acts as a channel of communication between the family environment and staff, about their needs or the resolution of various obstacles that will arise during the rehabilitation stage. During hospitalization, creative activity groups with active participation of patients take place, which aim at socialization, activation of cognitive functions and psychological empowerment of patients.

Finally, an important element undertaken by the social service is to provide information on the determination of the degree of disability and subsequently on benefits, disability pensions or any other benefits to which the patient is entitled.
