THE PHILOSOPHY OF MACHINES

HUR training machines are manufactured with the aim of proper and safe strengthening and qualitative muscle growth. Their mechanism is designed according to the geometry of the human musculoskeletal system. Thus, HUR machines transmit force in the same way that the human body transmits force through, the musculoskeletal system. It is well known that incorrect or excessive loading of the muscles leads to damage and injury. At the beginning of movement, when the muscle starts contracting, it needs more force. In this phase the muscles are more sensitive and vulnerable to injury. This fact must be taken into account in the construction of machines, especially when they are to be used by people who are in the recovery phase, or in general by people who need to avoid injury, such as high-level athletes. In the construction of HUR machines, all of this has been taken into account. Resistance through air pressure ensures a smooth movement and minimizes as much as possible the inertia of the system in both slow and fast movements. With HUR training machines the resistance is only taken from the muscle being exercised. This avoids unnecessary strain on other muscles or on joints and tendons, maximises muscle potential and minimises the risk of incorrect training.

MODE OF OPERATION

Although each machine is specifically designed for specific muscle groups, the way the machines work is the same. On the control console of all machines there are two buttons to adjust the air resistance (increase or decrease).

These are medical line machines. They are based on the physiology and principles governing the musculoskeletal system. They offer maximum recovery quickly and safely, which is what distinguishes them from ordinary gym equipment. Therapeutic Gymnastics Exercises are performed selectively on the desired muscle groups. Strengthening programs are completely individualized and are applied under the constant supervision and monitoring of fitness instructors.

Leg extension allows us to concentrate on strengthening the quadriceps. The anatomical construction of the chair with adjustment in the dorsal and lumbar region allows every type of body type to be exercised. The special radius device, increasing- decreasing range of motion, allows us to decrease or increase the range of motion every 15 degrees, so as to allow specialized use for rehabilitation in cruciate ligaments and menisci. The electronic display gives data on weight, number of repetitions, trends, speed of movement, allowing the physiotherapist to program specific rehabilitation exercises for each individual.

Leg Curl is a system for strengthening the posterior thighs. Emphasizing anatomical design allows for comfortable workout and strengthening of our patients. It is indicated in:

  • Restoration of cruciate ligaments.
  • Meniscus restoration.
  • Other injuries involving the knee and hamstrings.

The press is a very useful tool for rehabilitation of the lower limbs (hip, knee and ankle) and for closed chain exercises.
