Lydia - Hospitalization

Private Hospitalisation

At the Lydia Rehabilitation Centre there is the possibility of closed hospitalization and open treatment for people without insurance capacity and for cases where the condition is not covered by the insurance carrier. These patients are subject to a full rehabilitation treatment protocol (Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy) which is determined by the physiotherapist.

Patients' rights and obligations

  1. The patient has the right of access to the services of Lydia, the most appropriate for the nature of his/her condition.
  2. The patient has the right to be cared for with due respect for his or her human dignity. Such care shall include not only the general practice of medicine and nursing, but also paramedical services, appropriate accommodation, suitable treatment and effective administrative and technical assistance.
  3. The patient has the right to consent or refuse any diagnostic or therapeutic procedure to be performed on him/her. In the case of a patient with partial or total mental incapacity, this right shall be exercised by the person acting on his behalf.
  4. The patient has the right to ask for information about his/her situation. The patient's interest is crucial and depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information provided. The information provided to the patient should enable him or her to obtain a full picture of the medical, social and economic aspects of his or her situation and to take decisions himself or herself or to participate in decisions which may have a bearing on his or her later life.
  5. The patient has the right, to the extent and in the actual circumstances that this is possible, to privacy. The confidentiality of the information and content of the documents concerning him or her, the medical notes and findings file, shall be guaranteed.
  6. The patient has the right to respect and recognition of his/her religious and ideological beliefs.
  7. The patient has the right to present or submit any complaints and to be fully informed of the actions and results thereof.

Lydia's regulations are based on the defence of safety and we ask you to follow them, but also to encourage your companions/relatives to do the same. Lydia staff make every effort to provide you with the best possible health care. Your contribution to our efforts is essential, so please:

  1. Provide clear and accurate information about your identity, your medical history (personal and family), previous hospitalizations, medications and supplements you are taking or have taken, and any health concerns you have.
  2. Report any change in your health condition to the nursing staff.
  3. Work with the Lydia staff and actively participate in planning your treatment before and after you leave our Centre.
  4. Follow the treatment plans suggested by the medical staff or health professionals working under the direction of your doctor. If you need clarification, do not fully understand your treatment plan or the medical instructions given to you, tell the medical staff immediately.
  5. You comply with the financial terms of hospitalisation that apply in our Centre, which you have been informed of and agreed to during admission.
  6. Show sensitivity and respect to other patients and nursing staff.
  7. Observe the visiting hours in order to ensure the patients' peace of mind.
  8. Speak in a low voice and turn down your mobile phones. Encourage your companions/relatives to do the same.
  9. Show respect for the hospital environment by maintaining cleanliness and proper use of our Centre's equipment and facilities.
