The Lydia Rehabilitation Center provides a fully-equipped Enhanced Care Unit (ECU), which consists of 5 beds and 24-hour medical and nursing care. Patients who are not required to be in an ICU, ie they have overcome the initial risk to their life, but are still undergoing treatment which requires increased medical attention and care as their health condition does not yet allow them to be transferred in a typical clinic department, are hospitalized in the E.C.U.
The Enhanced Care Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and patients are consistently overseen and assessed by monitors which record their vital signs.
At our Clinic’s Enhanced Care Unit, we usually hospitalize:
- Patients who have been hospitalized in an ICU for the past period and require increased care before being transferred to a typical clinic room
- Patients with respiratory problems
- Patients with heart conditions
- Patients who have undergone surgery and require continuous clinical monitoring
